NORFOLK, Virginia, Sept. 15 -- Rep. Elaine Luria, D-Virginia, issued the following news release on Sept. 14, 2021:
Congresswoman Elaine Luria today highlighted a new report from the Joint Economic Committee estimating that 80,000 Child Tax Credit monthly tax cut payments were sent to families in Virginia's Second Congressional District in August. Roughly $35 million in tax cuts went back into the pockets of hardworking Hampton Roads families.
