TOPEKA, Kansas, Sept. 14 -- The Kansas Democratic Party issued the following news release:
Much like Kris Kobach, Attorney General Derek Schmidt continues to politicize his job at the expense of Kansans. This time, Schmidt is costing Kansas taxpayers $1.9 million by settling a five-year long political legal battle that he continued to wage after it was initially started by Kobach.
The lawsuit was filed by Kobach in 2016 based on false claims of voter fraud and unconstit . . .
