Rep. Estes, Sen. Moran Announce $103 Million in Grants for Kansas Aviation Manufacturers

WASHINGTON, Sept. 11 -- Rep. Ron Estes, R-Kansas, issued the following news release on Sept. 10, 2021:

U.S. Rep. Ron Estes (R-Kansas) and Sen. Jerry Moran (R-Kansas) today announced $103,879,965 in grants for Kansas aviation manufacturers through the Aviation Manufacturing Jobs Protection (AMJP) program. These funds will help Kansas aviation employers retain 4,284 employees.The AMJP program was created by legislation introduced by Rep. Estes and Sen. Moran.
