WASHINGTON, Sept. 10 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release on Sept. 9, 2021:
U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced that the U.S. Department of Justice's (DOJ) Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) has awarded $488,054 to the Ohio Attorney General's office to provide assistance to those affected by the Oregon District shooting that occurred August 4, 2019. The funds will help pay for four additional mental health counselors and related costs . . .
