HONOLULU, Hawaii, Sept. 9 (TNSRes) -- The University of Hawaii Cancer Center issued the following news:

Bardia Konh, PhD, associate member of the University of Hawaii Cancer Center and assistant professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, has received over $700,000 in funding over a four-year period to study the use of medical robotics in prostate brachytherapy, a common treatment for prostate cancer.
