JACKSONVILLE, Florida, Sept. 8 -- Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Florida, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) and U.S. Representative John Rutherford (R-FL) met with first responders and teachers in Jacksonville, Florida to discuss the HELPER Act. Rubio will soon introduce the bill, which Rutherford previously introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives, in the U.S. Senate. Following the event, Rubio and Rutherford spoke with members of the press.
