BASKING RIDGE, New Jersey, Sept. 4 -- Verizon, a communications and technology solutions company, issued the following news release:
All customers with the 757 Virginia area code should prepare for 10-digit dialing and the introduction of the new 948 area code. The 948 area code will be added as an overlay to the 757 region.
