Women Theater Owners Carrying Black Power Movement Into Today, Says University of North Texas History Lecturer

DENTON, Texas, Sept. 3 (TNSOps) -- The University of North Texas issued the following news release on Sept. 2, 2021:

In a time when discussions about race and equity are everywhere, a University of North Texas professor is looking at the impact of theater on the Black Power movement, especially theaters owned by Black women.
