WASHINGTON, Sept. 3 -- Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, issued the following news release on Sept. 2, 2021:
U.S. Senator Rob Portman (R-OH) announced that The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) awarded Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo $199,323 in a federal grant to help support and strengthen their emergency medical services (EMS). In total, nationwide, SAMHSA awarded $5.6 million to strengthen the role of EMS personnel in rural America.
