CHARLESTON, West Virginia, Sept. 2 -- Sen. Joe Manchin, D-West Virginia, issued the following news release on Sept. 1, 2021:

U.S. Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV), members of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced $6,842,160 from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to support seven research projects at West Virginia University (WVU).
