WASHINGTON, Sept. 2 -- Rep. Chellie Pingree, D-Maine, issued the following news release on Sept. 1, 2021:
Congresswoman Chellie Pingree (D-Maine) today announced that three Maine fire departments in the First Congressional District will receive a total of $645,670 in grant funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program (AFG). In this fiscal year, the AFG Program will award $319.5 million to an estimated 2,000 eligible fire . . .
