WASHINGTON, Sept. 2 -- Rep. Alma S. Adams, D-North Carolina, issued the following news release:
Congresswoman Alma Adams (NC-12) released the following statement in response to the Texas abortion ban (S.B. 8):
"No state has banned abortion at six weeks since Roe v. Wade. By allowing Texas' abortion ban to become law, the Supreme Court of the United States has effectively signaled that Roe should no longer be considered the law of the land," said Congressw . . .
