SILVER SPRING, Maryland, Sept. 1 -- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration issued the following news release on Aug. 31, 2021:
NOAA Fisheries announced new regulations for the lobster and Jonah crab trap and pot fisheries operating in the Northeast United States to help save endangered North Atlantic right whales by reducing their risk of entanglement in fishing gear.
