Rep. Murphy Cosponsors Bill to Award Congressional Gold Medals to Fallen Servicemembers

WASHINGTON, Sept. 1 -- Rep. Gregory Murphy, R-North Carolina, issued the following news release on Aug. 31, 2021:

Rep. Greg Murphy, M.D. (NC-03) cosponsored a bipartisan bill to posthumously award the Congressional Gold Medal to the 13 U.S. servicemembers who were killed in Afghanistan last week.

If passed, this legislation would award the Congressional Gold Medal to Camp Lejeune Sgt. Nicole L. Gee, Staff Sgt. Darin Taylor Hoover, Sgt. Johanny Rosario Pichardo, Cpl. Hun . . .
