WASHINGTON, Sept. 1 -- Rep. Gregory Murphy, R-North Carolina, issued the following news release on Aug. 31, 2021:
Rep. Greg Murphy, M.D. (NC-03) and House Veterans' Affairs Committee (HVAC) Ranking Member Mike Bost (IL-12) led a letter to HVAC Chairman Mark Takano (CA-41) urging him to reconvene HVAC immediately to conduct a full committee hearing about the implications of the failed Afghanistan withdrawal on the mental and emotional wellbeing of our nation's veterans.
