CHARLESTON, West Virginia, Aug. 24 -- Sen. Joe Manchin, D-West Virginia, issued the following news release on Aug. 23, 2021:
U.S. Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV), members of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced $341,768 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to Marshall University for diabetes, endocrinology and metabolic research. This project will study how kidneys regulate sodium levels in the body.
