Sen. Marshall Demands Accountability for U.S. Military Equipment Abandoned in Afghanistan

WASHINGTON, Aug. 20 -- Sen. Roger Marshall, R-Kansas, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. joined his colleagues in sending a letter to U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin demanding a full account of U.S. military equipment left behind in Afghanistan, which has already or risks falling into the hands of the Taliban and their terrorist allies. The letter says in part,
"It is unconscionable that high-tech military equipment paid for . . .
