AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 18 -- Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas, issued the following news release:
Governor Greg Abbott has named Brooke Paup to the Western States Water Council for a term to expire at the pleasure of the Governor.
Brooke Paup of Austin is the chairman of the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB), and has served on the TWDB since February 2018. Previously, she served as the director of legislative affairs for the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts.
