WASHINGTON, Aug. 12 -- Rep. Steny H. Hoyer, D-Maryland, issued the following news release on Aug. 11, 2021:
The deadline to sign up for health insurance during the special open enrollment period is quickly approaching. Marylanders have until Sunday, August 15 to sign up for or make changes to their existing health insurance plan--including those without employer-issued health care and those who do not benefit from Medicare or Medicaid.
