AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 9 -- Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas, issued the following news release:
Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Jarrett Lujan to the Council on Sex Offender Treatment for a term set to expire on February 1, 2027.
The council sets forth the standards for treatment and oversees the licensing of providers.
Jarett Lujan of Marfa is pursuing a Ph.D. in Higher Education Research at Texas Tech University.
