WASHINGTON, Aug. 7 -- Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, R-West Virginia, issued the following news release on Aug. 6, 2021:
U.S. Senators Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) and Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), members of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced $629,088 from the U.S. Department of Education to Marshall University for the Talent Search program. This program encourages and supports West Virginians from disadvantaged backgrounds to earn degrees in higher education.
