WASHINGTON, Aug. 7 -- Rep. David Trone, D-Maryland, issued the following news release on Aug. 6, 2021:
U.S. Representative David Trone (MD-06), along with U.S. Senators Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen (all D-MD) announced $150,000 in federal funding for improvements to a water distribution system that supplies nearly 100 homes in Allegany County. The funding came from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Emergency Community Water Assistance Grants program.
