WASHINGTON, Aug. 7 -- Sen. Joe Manchin, D-West Virginia, issued the following news release on Aug. 6, 2021:
U.S. Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV), members of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced $629,088 from the U.S. Department of Education to Marshall University for two Talent Search programs. These programs encourage and support West Virginians from disadvantaged backgrounds earn degrees in higher education.
