WASHINGTON, Aug. 7 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, chairman of the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee, issued the following statement on Aug. 6, 2021, after the Securities and Exchange Commission approved Nasdaq's proposed rule related to board diversity and disclosure:
