HONOLULU, Hawaii, Aug. 7 -- The University of Hawaii issued the following news release:

University of Hawaii at Manoa Professor Paul Lucey is the recipient of NASA's 2021 Eugene Shoemaker Distinguished Scientist Medal. This is a lifetime achievement award for contributions to understanding the Moon, Mars and other rocky planets.
