WASHINGTON, Aug. 6 -- Rep. Steny H. Hoyer, D-Maryland, issued the following news release on Aug. 5, 2021:

Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-05), Senators Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen, and Congressmen Dutch Ruppersberger, John Sarbanes, Kweisi Mfume, Anthony Brown, Jamie Raskin, and David Trone today announced more than $29 million in emergency federal funding toreimburse MedStar Health and Montgomery County Emergency Management for costs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
