JUNEAU, Alaska, Aug. 5 -- Gov. Mike Dunleavy, R-Alaska, issued the following news release:
Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy and the state's Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Anne Zink, publicly encouraged every eligible Alaskan to be vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus. The Governor, who contracted and recovered from COVID-19 in February 2021, made the decision to be vaccinated in June.
