WASHINGTON, Aug. 4 -- Rep. Al Lawson, D-Florida, issued the following news release on Aug. 3, 2021:
U.S. Rep. Al Lawson (FL-05) today announced $3 million is headed to Florida's Fifth Congressional District for community-based efforts to increase vaccinations in underserved communities. The funding is a part of the American Rescue Plan, which Rep. Lawson voted to pass earlier this year, and is being distributed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
