This week, U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV), member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, led seven Senators in urging Senate Committee Appropriations Chairman Patrick Leahy (D-VT) and Vice Chairman Richard Shelby (R-AL) to support Israel's emergency request in security assistance in order to strengthen its Iron Dome missile defense system in preparation for any future conflict.
