WASHINGTON, July 31 -- Sen. Joe Manchin, D-West Virginia, issued the following news release:

The U.S. Senate unanimously passed the bipartisan resolution introduced by U.S. Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Roger Wicker (R-MS) to designate August 1, 2021, as Gold Star Children's Day to recognize the sacrifices of the children of fallen servicemembers.
