WASHINGTON, July 30 -- Rep. Al Lawson, D-Florida, issued the following news release on July 29, 2021:
U.S. Rep. Al Lawson (FL-05) announced that 14 venues in Florida's Fifth Congressional District will receive a total of $10,097,166 through the Small Business Association Shuttered Venue Operators Grants (SVOG) program. Rep. Lawson voted in favor of the program, which provides financial assistance to entertainment and art venues affected by COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.
