WASHINGTON, July 30 -- Sen. Jon Ossoff, D-Georgia, issued the following news release on July 29, 2021:
Today the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee passed four Ossoff-backed bills out of committee to lower the costs of prescription drugs.
The bills would lower prescription drug costs for consumers, allow generic versions of popular prescription drugs to get to market faster, and prevent major pharmaceutical companies from monopolizing the prescription drug supply chain. < . . .
