WASHINGTON, July 30 -- Rep. Ted Budd, R-North Carolina, issued the following news release on July 29, 2021:
A bipartisan amendment to H.R. 4502 co-sponsored by Rep. Ted Budd (R-NC) passed the House. The amendment's chief sponsors were Reps. Rodney Davis (R-IL) and Abigail Spanberger (D-VA).
The amendment would expand access to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's ReConnect Program to rural communities who are in desperate need of sufficient internet.
