LINCOLN, Nebraska, July 30 -- The Nebraska Democratic Party issued the following news release:
NDP Chair Jane Kleeb hailed progress made Wednesday in the U.S. Senate to move toward passage of the bipartisan, $1 trillion infrastructure bill, but called out Sens. Ben Sasse and Deb Fischer for not supporting the measure.
Sasse and Fischer did not join the 17 GOP lawmakers who voted with Democrats to send the measure toward a final vote.
