Sens. Cotton, Warner Introduce Bill to Prohibit Funding for Huawei, Chinese Technology

WASHINGTON, July 29 -- Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Arkansas, issued the following news release:

Senators Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) and Mark Warner (D-Virginia) introduced the American Telecommunications Security Act to prohibit federal funding from the American Rescue Plan Act from being used to purchase Chinese telecommunications equipment, including from Huawei and ZTE.
