AUSTIN, Texas, July 24 -- Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas, issued the following news release on July 23, 2021:
Governor Greg Abbott today announced that the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) board has awarded $52.9 million in Housing Stability Service Grants to 31 organizations around the state. These grants will be used for housing stabilization activities, including outreach and shelter services, and will also allow the Texas Veterans Commission and TDHCA to work . . .
