CARSON CITY, Nevada, July 24 -- Gov. Stephen Sisolak, D-Nevada, issued the following news release:
Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak declared a state of emergency in Douglas County in response to the ongoing Tamarack Fire.
Declaring a state of emergency ensures resources from the local, state, and federal levels are available to assist as needed during this emergency.
