WASHINGTON, July 22 -- Rep. Jared Golden, D-Maine, issued the following news release on July 21, 2021:
Congressman Jared Golden (ME-02) voted today to pass the PFAS Action Act, bipartisan legislation that would help to remove dangerous "forever chemicals," or per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) from drinking water, end the production of the chemicals, and increase federal funding to remove contamination.
