WASHINGTON, July 16 -- Rep. John P. Sarbanes, D-Maryland, issued the following news release on July 15, 2021:
Congressman John Sarbanes (D-Md.) today joined the Maryland Congressional Delegation in announcing $2,987,679 in federal funding to strengthen maternal and child health care services throughout the state.
"If anything, the COVID-19 pandemic has brought long-standing disparities in maternal and child health care into sharper focus," the lawmakers said. . . .
