ATLANTA, Georgia, July 16 -- The Democratic Party of Georgia issued the following news release on July 15, 2021:
Starting today, Georgia families will be receiving monthly tax cuts of up to $300 per child as part of the American Rescue Plan. Thanks to President Biden and Democrats - and no thanks to Republicans in Congress, who unanimously opposed this relief plan - this tax cut will provide additional relief of up to $1,600 per child to the families of 2,274,000 children in Georgia . . .
