HARTFORD, Connecticut, July 15 -- Gov. Ned Lamont, D-Connecticut, issued the following news release on July 14, 2021:
Governor Ned Lamont today is praising the multi-state, multi-agency rail infrastructure plan CONNECT NEC 2035 (C35) that was released by the Northeast Corridor (NEC) Commission. The governor said that C35 is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to replace aging bridges and tunnels, add rail capacity, improve performance, and enhance customer experience on the Northeast . . .
