R.I. Gov. McKee Signs Gun Safety Bills Into Law

PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island, July 13 -- Gov. Daniel J. McKee, D-Rhode Island, issued the following news release:

Governor Dan McKee, joined by Lt. Governor Sabina Matos, Secretary of State Nellie M. Gorbea, Attorney General Peter F. Neronha, General Treasurer Seth Magaziner, Senate President Dominick J. Ruggerio, Majority Whip Katherine S. Kazarian, Sen. Joshua Miller, and Rep. Jason Knight today signed into law two pieces of gun safety legislation.
