WASHINGTON, July 2 -- Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, R-Iowa, issued the following news release on July 1, 2021:
Reps. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-02) and Ruben Gallego (AZ-07), both veterans,led a bipartisan group of131 members in introducing H.R. 4300, the Veterans in Parks (VIP) Act. This legislation would give veterans and Gold Star families free lifetime access to national parks and public federal lands and give active-duty military free annual passes.
