Rep. Trone Secures Nearly $550,000 in Funding for Frederick's Flood Mitigation Project in Government Funding Bill

WASHINGTON, July 1 -- Rep. David Trone, D-Maryland, issued the following news release on June 30, 2021:

Congressman David Trone (MD-06) announced that he secured $534,977 in funding for flood mitigation in Frederick, Maryland as part of the FY 2022 Department of Homeland Security funding bill. The Motter Avenue Area Community Flood Mitigation Project will protect homeowners from property damage and reduce the risk of flood-related injury in the YMCA Flooding Area.
