WASHINGTON, June 30 -- Rep. Gregory Murphy, R-North Carolina, issued the following news release on June 29, 2021:
Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D. (NC-03) introduced the Student Veterans Counseling Centers Eligibility Act, which is a response to the heightened risk of suicide among non-traditional students returning to school after their service. This bill would amend the G.I. Bill to expand Vet Center eligibility to student veterans and to help with this change.
