AUSTIN, Texas, June 30 -- The Texas Democratic Party issued the following news:
First Lady Dr. Jill Biden and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff were in Texas on Tuesday to encourage Texans to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
Texas, along with a few other states, is projected to narrowly miss President Biden's goal of having 70 percent of U.S. adults vaccinated with at least one dose by July 4th. Currently, Texas has a vaccination rate of 61 percent for adults 18 years a . . .
