AKRON, Ohio, June 29 -- Rep. Tim Ryan, D-Ohio, issued the following news release on June 28, 2021:
Congressman Tim Ryan (OH-13) is today announcing $616,000 for the Akron METRO Regional Transit Authority to purchase two 40-foot battery-powered electric buses to replace two diesel engine buses.
This funding was made available through the U.S. Department of Transportation Low and No Emission Vehicle Grant Program, which provides funding to purchase or lease low or no-emis . . .
