AUSTIN, Texas, June 26 -- The Texas Democratic Party issued the following statement by Chair Gilberto Hinojosa in response to ex-Minneapolis police officer Derek Chavin being sentenced to 22-and-a-half years in federal prison for the murder of George Floyd:
