WASHINGTON, June 26 -- The Democratic Governors Association issued the following news on June 25, 2021:
In a vote by his fellow governors Wednesday, New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy was elected to help lead the National Governors Association as vice chairman. Gov. Murphy, who previously served as chair of the DGA, will oversee the organization alongside Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson and work with governors across the country to provide solutions to the issues facing working families.
