JUNEAU, Alaska, June 19 -- Gov. Mike Dunleavy, R-Alaska, issued the following news release on June 18, 2021:

Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy today issued a proclamation calling the legislature into a second special session to pass a complete and constitutional Fiscal Year 2022 budget. Following the legislature's inability to properly fund the budget and provide an effective date of July 1st, Governor Dunleavy took immediate action in order to avoid a government shutdown.
